  • 2 cups Cooked / Canned Chickpeas
  • 1/3 cup Tahini (sesame paste)
  • Lemon Juice to taste
  • 2 2 Small peeled garlic pods
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  1. Drain the water from can. Put the Chickpeas in the grinding jar. Add lime juice and 2-3 tablespoon of cooking liquid of chickpeas
  2. Close the jar and use the pulse button to crush the chickpeas.
  3. Now add, tahini, garlic pods, salt and 2 tbsp of olive oil. Grind further until smooth.
  4. Add little more water or cooking liquid if the hummus is too thick
  5. Transfer it to serving bowl. Drizzle remaining oil and serve.
