The Samsung Galaxy A10 offers a surprisingly current design for a budget smartphone. It is entirely made out of plastic back and has a glossy finish. The device feels stylish to hold and feels very comfortable in hands due to the rounded edges. The speakers of phones are placed at the back instead of the bottom which is a bit inconvenient as you end up covering it while holding the phone. The power key and volume rocker are situated on the right edge. At the bottom, you can find a micro USB port, an audio jack and a microphone for normal calls. It does not have a fingerprint sensor, but the advance face recognition feature is installed on this mobile phone.

The Samsung Galaxy A10 comes with only one rear camera, it’s the only phone in the current A range to do so. The rear camera packs a 13-megapixel camera with an f/1.9 aperture and 2 MP Depth camera which is accompanied by an LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture. The A10’s camera works best in bright, neutral lighting but it fails to prove itself in dark or dim light conditions.

Battery and Storage

This device is available in only one configuration, i.e 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It accepts SD cards up to 512GB, which is much better for those who might need a mobile phone with more significant storage.

A 3400 mAh battery is a highlight to Samsung Galaxy A10 which is a greater battery capacity than the latest flagship, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. It is gives an approximate usage of 15 hours before it drains out completely. It takes about 2 hours to charge the phone from 0 to 100%, which is not disappointing for a phone of such caliber.

Performance

Samsung Galaxy A10 is powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7884 processor which is not very fast but it is adequate for general operations, such as navigating the interface, using most apps, and even playing basic games. It runs latest version of Android with Samsung’s One UI 1.1 skin on top.

In Conclusion, the phone delivers a reasonable performance, with modest screen size, favorable display, good battery life and acceptable photo quality. It is definitely not an option for tech nerds but for the price of Rs 7990, Samsung A10 can be perfect for somebody looking for a phone that fulfills the basic needs.
