The changing of winter to spring has invariably been my favourite time of the year. It’s the perfect climate to spend some pleasant time with your family and friends. chicken fajita wrap is something everyone likes irrespective of the age. It’s the best dish to carry while travelling, for a picnic or to have by the beach.
Loaded with protein, vitamins and healthy fats, it can be enjoyed at any time of the day. May it be breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. I packed these delicious chicken fajita wraps for my dad and his friends while they were on a trip with almost 25 people on a bus. It got quite popular and request for the recipe started gushing forth. What better way to put it down here for everyone to savour.
A self-driving car, also known as an autonomous vehicle – AV, driverless car, robo-car or robotic car, is a vehicle that is capable of sensing its environment and moving safely with little or no human input. Term autonomous cars now sound quite familiar to us, and it feels like it would come to our lives sooner. Cars are becoming smarter; they sense danger and detect the driver’s stress level.
Autonomous cars are in which human drivers are never required to take control to safely operate the vehicle. Also known as ‘self driving’ or ‘driverless’ cars, they combine sensors and software to control, navigate, and drive the vehicle.
Self-driving cars combine a variety of sensors to perceive their surroundings, such as radar. Advanced control systems interpret sensory information to identify appropriate navigation paths, as well as obstacles and relevant signage. Driving automation has six levels which are used by experts and defined by the J2016 standard in 2016 & 2018, from SOCIETY AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS (SAE). The self-driving car is a vehicle that is capable of sensing its environment and moving safely with little or no human input.
The Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE) has defined 6 levels of vehicle autonomy by SAE:
Level 0: This one is pretty basic. The driver (human) controls it all: steering, brakes, throttle, power. It’s what you’ve been doing all along. At first, the SAE standard defined level 0 as ‘no driver assistance at all’, but the vehicle with a simple warning system is also considered as a level 0 car. Still, the driver has to take charge of controlling the vehicle.
Level 1: This driver-assistance level means that most functions are still controlled by the driver. Specific function (like steering or accelerating) can be done automatically by the car. Driver and the system share control of the vehicle. Examples are systems where the driver controls steering and the automated system controls engine power to maintain a set speed (Cruise Control) or engine and brake power to maintain and vary the speed (Adaptive Cruise Control or ACC). Lane Keeping Assistance is another example of level 1 self-driving.
Level 2: The vehicle can control both steering and accelerate/decelerating, though a human sitting in the driver’s seat must take control of the car at any time when it is necessary. It means that the “driver is disengaged from physically operating the vehicle by having his or her hands off the steering wheel AND foot off the pedal at the same time, according to the SAE. The driver must still always be ready to take control of the vehicle, however. expands the meaning of advanced driver assistance systems(ADAS).
Most of Hyundai Motor Group(HMG)’s vehicles are at Level 2. From Hyundai Kona and Ioniq from Kia Seltos, all of them house HDA system as an option. This kind of system is now considered as merely user convenience. HDA allows vehicles to maintain the speed and a safe distance from the vehicle ahead in a highway.
Level 3: Drivers are still necessary for level 3 cars, but are able to completely shift “safety-critical functions” to the vehicle, under certain traffic or environmental conditions. It means that the driver is still present and will intervene if necessary, but is not required to monitor the situation in the same way it does for the previous levels. Jim McBride, the autonomous vehicles expert at Ford, said this is “the biggest demarcation is between Levels 3 and 4”. The driver can safely turn their attention away from the driving tasks, e.g. the driver can text or watch a movie. The vehicle will handle situations that call for an immediate response, like emergency braking.
Also vehicle can detect everything around and can make decisions for itself under certain conditions such as on a highway, ?but in any case, the driver must be alert and ready to take manual control at any time. The vehicle cannot guarantee the safety of the passengers when it alerts the driver to take control, so the driver should be always ready for such circumstances.
Level 4: As level 3, but no driver attention is ever required for safety, e.g. the driver may safely go to sleep or reading books. The vehicle can operate in the self-driving mode most of the time. There are a steering wheel and acceleration/braking pedals for the driver in case of emergency, but they are not frequently used. The Level 4 system, however, cannot operate the vehicle when it runs under certain conditions, e.g., when it is off-road. The driver should take control then.
Level 5: No human intervention is required at all. An example would be a robotic taxi. Vehicle means it does not require the driver’s attention. You can even take the steering wheel or acceleration/braking pedals away from a Level 5 vehicle. The vehicle will be free from GPS or navigation systems, able to go anywhere and do anything that a driver can do. Fully autonomous cars are undergoing testing in several places, but none are yet available to the general public. Vehicles are completely capable of handling any road conditions or type of weather. This refers to a fully-autonomous system that expects the vehicle’s performance to equal that of a human driver.
In order for fully autonomous vehicles to be developed, high-performance artificial intelligence must be created in advance. In other words, cars should be able to think and act like humans.
Autonomous cars won’t work until we have 5G to make everything connected. This is why the Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) system becomes essential, as the V2X and autonomous vehicles could complement each other. It is the way of passing information from a vehicle to anything that may affect it, and vice versa. Its adaptive cruise control will help the vehicle adapt the speed in heavy traffic to the flow, keeping a safe distance to the vehicle ahead. Such a system will help bring fully autonomous cars come to reality.
Moreover, the ultimate goal of Level 5 autonomy is all about safety. In order for this to come, we need to give the system revolutionary leaps in high-performance computing and networking. Just as a child needs the “parents unconditional love and care for a long time”, cars need a substantial amount.
There are lot of thinks that effect our skin. It’s not hard to attain a clear and smooth skin. These 3 tips are quite effective and will surely help in reviving your skin. These are simple changes that are not hard to practice and trust me you will see the difference.
Eat healthy food
Well, you might have read it a million times and it is totally true, eating healthy food is the first vital step to healthy, clear skin. what you eat will directly reflect on your skin. If you eat more of oily stuff you will start getting acne. Eat more salads, try to include salads in all your meals. Also, have a bowl of fruits on a daily basis to keep your skin looking younger and healthy. Also, drink lots of water. Water helps keep the skin hydrated and keeps the texture of the skin smooth. Buy a bundle of seasonal fruit online.
Exercise is a must for everyone. Go for a morning walk or exercise, it will help you keep your body fit. You don’t always have to go to the gym to maintain a fit body, get a workout mat and get going. Even your stomach will be happy, the digestion gets better and intern it contributes to healthy skin.
Daily skin care Routine
Everyone should strictly follow a skincare routine to maintain a healthy and clear skin
First you will have to find your skin type
Those with normal skin types generally exhibit few blemishes, and they have small, barely visible pores, and smooth skin texture.
Those with oily skin experience quite a bit of shine, and very often struggle with acne breakouts. Excessive oil can result in larger pores, and you may find that your makeup “slides” of during the day without reapplication.
Those with dry skin have small, invisible pores. Dry skin can lead to irritation and flakiness, and you may observe dry patches across the face.
Combination skin exhibits the presence of two or more of the aforementioned skin types. The skin is often oily in the T-zone, while other portions of the face may be excessively dry.
Those with sensitive skin may experience any of the above skin types but with added sensitivity. They may be more vulnerable to products with irritating chemicals and fragrances.
Which ever skin type you are: you will have to follow a simple CTM (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) routine. Everyones knows what CTM stands for. I had heard that CTM works wonders on skin,it clears your skin and so on. But i thought that these were all marketing tactics, Until I myself tried it.
Prior to starting the CTM routine, I would wash my face many times a day to get rid of the excess oil on my face. little did I know that I was making it produce more oil and by not using a moisturiser after cleansing, made my skin think that it needed to produce more sebum.
Toner helps shrinken the pores, retain the skin ph balance and refreshes the skin.
After Following CTM routine, my skin started getting clear in just 3 weeks. I made sure that I was using the cleanser, toner and moisturizer without fail twice a day. All those small whiteheads started disappearing and my face became more smooth and clear. My skins texture got better and I started loving my skin.
Try these simple tips for clear, smooth and healthy skin. Do comment on how it affected you. Be healthy and shine bright.
Finally, Samsung has revealed its most awaited truly flagship, S20 Ultra which is an absolute mammoth of the smartphone. The phone is packed with 16 GB RAM, that’s more than most laptop and computers. It’s not just better than any flagship phone that has ever released before, it is a level above. You can almost call it a superphone which has the best 6.9-inch display with AMOLED technology for deep contrast and brightness of 800 nits across the whole display which is combined with tiny bezels all the way around that almost feels border-less. So it’s safe to say that this is the best display on a phone right now.
Furthermore, it has 240 Hertz touch response to match which is as twice and fast as before. S20 Ultra looks fantastic when compared to the standard S20 which visually looks not too distinct from the company’s own mid-range phones. I really loved that Samsung smoothed out the edges of the phone. It doesn’t have that steep curve which S10+ has. So typing on this is a lot more enjoyable than typing on the S10+. It’s also interesting that they moved the placement of fingerprint scanner towards the middle of phone where your thumb gets to it a bit quicker. It’s just a more comfortable position to use.
The beefy camera module is a bit thicker which looks like a double camera bump. You will find a quad-camera setup made up of 12MP ultra-wide lens empowering 120-degree view, a 108MP wide-angle lens allowing 79-degree view, a 48MP telephoto lens with a 24-degree view and a depth vision camera. This is one of the only Galaxy devices that come with a 108 MP camera which has the capability of zooming up-to a 100 times. The other crazy thing about this device is the fact you can shoot an 8k video.
There are 2 colours available of S20 Ultra i.e cosmic grey and cosmic black. The black is the better colour out of two in my opinion. I wish there were more colours this year but it is what it is. However you can fast charge it with a wired 45- watt fast charger which supports Qi-enabled wireless charging. In addition, a 25-watt charger is also included. The S20 ultra fully supports 5G and fully supports both the Sub-6 and wave networks. You also get a USB-C cable for charging and data transfer with a pair of AKG headphones which is amazing.
The speakers have got a bit louder and it’s pushing the high end, a bit higher. There isn’t a headphone jack so don’t get too excited but there are USB-C and they sound good so at least they package those in.
This winter fruit salad is a great way to eat fresh fruit during the colder months. It has been a day full of love and of course, delicious food. The Winter Fruit Salad is filled with orange, banana, apple and pomegranate.
It gets tossed in a delicious honey and lime juice dressing and you won’t be able to get enough. I seriously can’t get enough of it. I have always loved having fruit in the house and some of my favorite fruits are winter fruits. And I am totally obsessed with pomegranate.
Now that winter’s cold weather is upon us, add a little more pomegranate seeds to your winter fruit salad as its a time where plenty of pomegranate needs to be consumed. The most known features of pomegranate is its protection against cancer as it contains very strong antioxidants. And what left is apples, apples and more apples. Oh, and a few oranges and bananas too.
This winter fruit salad recipe is a colorful variety of fresh fruit tossed in a light honey and lemon juice. I made this winter fruit salad quite a few times during the holidays and it is so bright, vibrant and delicious. We love having a fruit salad at the dinner table when we eat with family, and this one is always requested!
2 large oranges peeled and seperated into segments.
1 red apples cored and diced
2 large bananas peeled and sliced
1 cup pomegranate seeds
2 Tablespoon Honey
3 Tablespoon lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon black pepper powder
Garnish with fresh mint leaves(Optional)
combine all the fruit in one large mixing bowl.
Add lime juice and honey to a small mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Drizzle over fruit and gently toss to coat.
Sprinkle some black pepper powder above the fruit.
Garnish it with few mint leaves(Optional).
Chill in the fridge and pull out when you’re ready to serve!
Feel free to use any combination of fruit, depending on what you prefer or available. you can use any other spicy seasoning mix in place of the pepper powder.
Samsung is here with its new Samsung Galaxy S20 Series on pre-order. They come in threes: Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 ultra. It has several features which make it different from all the other phones including the latest Apple’s iPhone.
As we have all seen iPhone 11 pro max has an impeccable camera but is left far behind by this beast from Samsung. Without beating around the bush let’s get into comparison.
Samsung S20 ultra features a 108MP sensor. It uses a technology called pixel binning, where it combines 9 pixels into one to be equivalent to 12MP shot on the S20 ultra will look sharper and better.
As far as the design does the camera hole on S20 has been placed on the centre making it look uniform and the lowered chin looks sleek. Of course, the camera bump on the both is huge, which is questionable.
iPhone 11 PRO MAX is bordered with stainless steel whereas Samsung S20 series has aluminium and gorilla glass 6 as same as that of 10 series but the decreased curvature might have an impact.
Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra is not as huge as iPhone 11 pro-MAX and handling on one hand is much easier. The price of both is similar to S20 ultra being a bit pricier. Irrespective of the various features that are being claimed it can only be fully corroborated when you start using the phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is a super stylish smartphone that arrives with brilliant and pretty neat s-pen that dignifies the overall Note 10+ experience. It supports air gestures which will allow you to zoom camera or change volume by waving pen in air. The narrowest Note 10+ comes with biggest screen ever on Note therefore a very small bezel display. Phone has an impressive sound quality and amazing display with superior viewing experience. Possible drawbacks would be having no headphone jack, slightly smaller battery life and being expensive.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro is technically my favorite phone this year in terms of hardware, camera, battery and color. To start with, I love the way it looks. I thought it looks pretty good in renders but its better in-person. The asymmetrical design on the front is a little less to my liking. But Mate 30 pro has everything you desire to have in pro phones. It has top-of-the-line camera, almost as capable in the night as it is during the day. It has got the new Kirin 990 chipset and aggressive battery capacity of 4500mAh which offers 2 days of easy use.

I can safely say that S 10+ is one of the best smartphone displays in the market, the bezels around the screen look razor thin. Samsung’s new UI software is much better than the one replaced. The camera started off good but has been consistently getting better with updates so much so that it kept track with all the phones that released after it. Finger print sensor is under the display which offers better anti-spoofing measures than traditional optical sensors. The battery life is an improvement over S9 series.

Apple iPhone 11 max Pro is the Cupertino tech giant’s smartphone where every feature has a very clear purpose and works really well when compared to standard iPhone 11. The battery life is raised from slightly “below average” to literally “record breaking”. It’s the first iPhone to come with triple camera setup. In addition to primary wide angle and tele-camera there’s now also an ultra-wide camera. But there’s also few things missing which I would like to see on a pro phone like USB-C port for better compatibility and 120 Hertz or even a 90 Hertz fluid display. A high refresh rate screen would have made it more competitive.

I loved Huawei P30 pro when it came out in 2019. It has got crazy hybrid 50 times zoom feature which is so powerful that you can literally spy on what’s happening down your street. It shoots incredible night shots and can grab more details in low light. Even 11 months later, there are very few phones that can come close to the night time images it captures. It comes with huge 4200mAh battery which is excellent, lasting for about two days. The only thing that interrupt here is the U.S ban on Huawei which makes their future with google little uncertain.

Price : $749 /Rs 53,600 (approx).
Google Pixel 4 XL, which to me makes a lot more sense than the Pixel 4. It feels high quality, sturdy and minimalistic. Its got a similar clear google software and a similar google camera. There are few emissions and additions that Google has decided to go with and their pixel line including some motion tracking, only two camera lenses instead of three. Google has taken a new direction to be a first phone with a square camera bump. It has got a matte rear finish combined with matte black sides and a orange colored power key which looks pretty voguish. Its slightly less good at everything but a lot cheaper with a better battery life.

When the company started, they were in the league of their own in terms of offering the absolute best hardware at a much lower price. But recently this whole category of cut price flagship has become congested. They are no longer one of the cheapest phones to have the best hardware but they are becoming one of the better ones. This phone has got really light, fast and an up to date software plus a lot of love has gone into the display, its dazzling. As its becoming of bit of trend this year, it flew it with 90 Hertz refresh rate. Even though its far from the cheapest now, the one plus 7T Pro is a lot cheaper than lot of its competitors.

It is one of the devices which we call a flagship killer. It is priced very competitively but at the same time it peaks a punch. It has so much power that it will make you question a need to buy a Rs 50,000 flagship device. This phone can be called as a gaming beast which comes with 6.4 inch AMOLED display that will make you feel immersed in the game that you are playing. Phone is made from glass with an aluminium frame, glass back is curved and tapered edges gives the phone an elegant look. One of the special feature of Mi 9T Pro is motorized pop-up selfie camera. Unlike other similar pop-up modules we have seen, this one is accented with eye catching LED strips. Phone comes with lightning-fast under display fingerprint reader, the solid battery life, fast charging and great cameras. Overall, Mi 9T is a feature pack upper mid range device that a lot of people would be happy with.

Price : $699/Rs 39,000 (approx).
The phone looks great, feels premium, has an excellent display and covers all the basics in terms of high end features. The highlight of the phone is the back camera array which is super eye-catching and definitely clicks amazing pictures I have ever seen from a smart phone. I really enjoyed the display of the phone, particularly the colors and brightness saturation however I do feel like the bezels are a bit thick. There is no option for expandable memory which is bit odd in my opinion also the fingerprint sensor was tough for me to use but i will really appreciate Nokia for trying to come up with amazing camera.

There was a time when Sony would launch premium and crowd pleasing smartphones. Lately it had failed to gain the enough attention and popularity due to its high prices with inadequate features. But I genuinely think this is the most exiting phone Sony has launched in years. Xperia 1 is all about “4k OLED HDR 21 by 9 ultra-wide screen”. It’s basically everything you want for watching movies and playing games. It comes with a 3840 x 1644 resolution, which is crazy sharp. I really appreciate Sony for trying something a bit different and offering genuinely unique feature.
Though the phone looks tall when using in portrait mode, you won’t have much problem with this as you can swipe down from anywhere on the home screen to get to the navigation bar. There’s also an easy one handed mode feature which you can enable in settings and double tap the home button to shrink the screen. The extra height on screen is much suited for multitasking and having two apps side by side in split view. Unfortunately, there’s no headphone jack and face unlock option which is bit disappointing. The camera is not as reliable as Samsung or Apple’s and battery life is just weak.
